Electronic Stability Program
The Electronic Stability Program (ESP)* helps to reconcile the driver’s intended course with the vehicle's actual course. ESP's sensors monitor the steering angle, and other vehicle motions, and use this data to find differences between the driver's steering and, acceleration, and braking patterns. When any difference is detected, ESP provides automatic course correction by applying braking force, and /or reducing torque.
*No system can repeal the laws of physics or overcome any type of reduced traction. Always drive consistent with the weather and road conditions.
